Make a difference in the lives of high school students by putting your expertise to work in a dynamic educational setting. An exciting contract opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist with a passion for supporting student well-being and academic success. This position runs from August 10, 2026, through May 14, 2027, with consistent hours from 7:30AM to 3:00PM. This position offers competitive pay, starting at $50/hour, plus benefits.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide comprehensive psychological services to approximately 30 high school students
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students’ strengths and needs
• Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and support plans
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to enhance learning outcomes
• Consult and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
• Foster positive relationships to promote a safe, supportive school environment

Your Background:

• Current and valid Illinois School Psychologist license required
• Prior school-based experience, preferably at the secondary level, is highly valued
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effectively engaging with students, families, and staff
• Deep understanding of adolescent development and the challenges facing high school students
• Ability to work fully onsite and contribute as a reliable team member
