The Part-Time Wedding Coordinator serves as the primary liaison for couples preparing for the Sacrament of Marriage at St. Charles Borromeo Church. This position coordinates all logistical aspects of parish weddings, ensuring each celebration is well-organized, reverent, and in accordance with Catholic liturgical norms. The Wedding Coordinator works collaboratively with clergy, parish staff, musicians, and wedding parties to provide a welcoming and seamless experience from initial planning through the wedding day.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines with attention to detail. Professional, dependable, and customer service-oriented. Ability to work evenings and weekends as required for rehearsals and wedding ceremonies. Familiarity with Catholic wedding liturgy and sacramental practices preferred. Experience in event coordination, hospitality, parish ministry, or a related field preferred. Commitment to supporting the mission, values, and teachings of the Catholic Church.
